Is there an Anxiety Cure?

Is there an anxiety cure? People, most especially those suffering from serious episodes of anxiety tend to ask this question. Luckily the answer happens to be yes. Although we don’t want to misguide the public by saying that we will eliminate all kinds of anxieties due to the reason that some anxieties can be helpful to us. Anxiety assists our bodies to become more agile and stronger. It is the uncontrollable and severe forms of anxiety that we want to eradicate.
To concretely identify the main antagonist of anxiety, it is safe to say that the amygdala is the one responsible for the anxiety response. Being the anxiety center in our brain, it is the key to controlling our anxieties. It is only when this key will lock anxieties when the disorder takes place.
To “trick” the amygdala, some exercises can be performed. Meditation, for example, is a good practice during times of increasing anxiety. Although most people may say that meditating is practically difficult especially when the person is already under panic, given the correct technique this anxiety problem can be managed.
Before we go deeper to the exercise techniques to cure extreme anxiety, it is important to understand that the focus of the individual under stress must be redirected from the mind back to the central body. Sometimes there are too many things going on inside the head of an anxious person that he or she may experience hallucinations, illusions and even derailment.
First, there is one yoga-type of exercise that is said to be very effective in curing unwanted anxieties. The abdominal lift targets the breathing muscles to make breathing a lot easier. The individual must stand using his or her knees to support the upper body then take 3 deep breaths as preparation for the “lift.” Next, upon sensing that you are already full of air blow all of it out of your body and hold your breath. Suck your belly against your back bone and hold this particular position and your breath for a matter of seconds. Prior to resuming your next breath, relax your belly. Afterwards, continue breathing. This entire process usually takes a minute. However, it is appropriate to create three continuous cycles.
Another exercise is the lightning bolt. From the term itself, it involves the performer to make lightning throws into the ground. But before doing so, he or she must first jump high with a huge breath. Upon descent to the ground, blow hard enough accompanied by the flipping of the arms like throwing bolts of lightning, as said early. Performing this exercise in at least 10 cycles is a terrific anxiety cure.
If you will only master these techniques then you will have less problem dealing with your inappropriate anxieties. All of the stress and panic will no longer have a place in your mind if you come up with these principles.
