Some physiological researches think that a chemical imbalance in the brain might be the reason for certain stress disorders, but they do not have any evidence per this because it is awfully tough to pin-point the exact cause. Some folk assume they are genetic in nature and some like to believe that anxiety is learned from parents on a subconscious level.

Anxiety attacks, also called panic attacks, are caused by a shift in the way the Amygdala, the little organ in the brain which manages the anxiety response, behaves when confronted with an anxiety provoking thought, sensation or situation – this may cause hysteria attacks.
What really causes stress attacks to occur?

Anxiety attacks are caused when there is a major imbalance of feelings or when one does not know how to react or deal with a certain situation. Some examples of events that would cause stress attacks to happen is a death in the family, use of particular drugs, pregnancies, divorce, childbirth, trouble with money, major traffic accidents, loosing your job, or any other event that will trigger powerful feelings from you.

Most people still can experience stress attacks because of much smaller events and they can be just as bad as someone who had experienced a dire event. The causes for these could be much harder to locate, but the good part about this is, you do not need to know the exact causes of your nervous attacks to treat them or to find help with them. One of the most devitalizing aftermath of nervousness disorders is they can compel you into isolation. Whether from you be afflicted by fear that you will have a panic attack when others are present, or from the crippling embarrassment that accompanies social anxiety disorder, or from the agoraphobia which anxiety disorder sufferers can develop over time, you will end up paralyzed at the thought of sharing your condition with the world.

That emotional paralysis can keep you from getting the help that will let you overcome your uneasiness disorder and get your life back on track.

And with uneasiness now the most prevalent psychological health disorder in the U.S., the necessity for nervousness support groups is larger than ever. While such foreboding support groups are not yet available in every community, there are people and organizations trying to rectify the situation.

The ADAA, or uneasiness Disorders Association of America, is dedicated to building anxiousness support groups for people who either suffer from anxiety disorder or have folks in their lives who do. The ADAA recognizes that anxiety sufferers are folk who would be highly tempted to attempt to solve their problems on their own, but without nervousness support groups, that approach may be ineffective. They inspire the creation of local nervousness support groups which will allow nervousness sufferers to have interaction with others while learning to rely on themselves.

Anxiety support groups help in 2 ways : they give their members a secure place among others who have shared similar nervousness attacks, and they supply info about the most recent research and treatments for anxiousness. By steering their members in the right direction about their condition and its treatment, they can remove some of the stigma that has been attached to uneasiness sufferers.

Anxiety support groups, should be one part of your program to triumph over your disorder. They’ll be used as an adjunct to the care endorsed by a doctor familiar with panic and anxiety treatment. You may gain tiny by attending tension support group meetings–if your untreated disorder permits you to–if you aren’t also under a doctor’s care.

The ADAA will even, if there are no existing anxiety support groups in your community, provide you with guidance on ways to begin and maintain your own. But you have to be honest about your ability to organize and lead such a tension support group, and whether your life has room for that kind of commitment.
